Joseph A. Putzel

Joseph A. Putzel of Aurora, Minnesota was inducted into the Army on April 25, 1942.

He was a Private First Class and a guard-patrolman with Company H, 157th Infantry Regimen, serving in Central Europe.

Mr. Putzel received the: Combat Infantryman Badge, Good Conduct Medal, European-African-Middle East Campaign Service Medal with a bronze battle star, American Campaign Service Medal, World War II Victory Medal and a overseas service bar.

He was discharged on Nov. 12, 1945.
