Joseph S. Mesojedec

Joseph S. Mesojedec of McKinley was inducted into the Army on May 30, 1942.

He was a Technician 4th Grade and a radio operator with the Headquarters Battery in the 469th Anti-Aircraft Artillery Battalion in the Bismarck Archipelago, New Guinea, South Philippines and Luzon.

Mr. Mesojedec received the: Good Conduct Medal, Philippine Liberation Medal with two bronze stars, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Service Medal with four bronze battle stars and bronze service arrowhead, American Campaign Service Medal and four overseas service bars.

He was discharged on Dec. 8, 1945.
