Joseph Skorich

Joseph Skorich was inducted into the Army on April 24, 1942, at Fort Snelling, Minnesota. Home at entry: Hibbing, Minnesota.

He served as a Technician Fifth Grade with Company C of the 713th Engineers in Tunisia, North Africa; Rome-Arno, Italy; Southern France, Rhineland, and Central Europe.

He received the following: Good Conduct Medal, European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign Medal with five bronze battle stars, World War II Victory Medal, and five overseas service bars.

He was honorably discharged on September 3, 1945, at Camp McCoy, Wisconsin.
