Joseph W. Bachnik

Mr. Bachnik inducted into the Army June 12, 1942, at Fort Snelling, Minnesota. Home at entry: Chisholm, Minnesota.

He served as a Master Sergeant and chief clerk with Headquarters 40th Infantry Division.

He was awarded the following: Good Conduct Medal, American Campaign Medal, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal, World War II Victory Medal, one overseas service bar, and Philippine Liberation Medal.

Mr. Bachnik was honorably discharged January 22, 1946, Camp McCoy, Wisconsin.
