TIDGWELL, Kenneth Edward

Kenneth E. Tidgwell was born on January 20th 1915 to Grant Sugden & Ida Mae [Brockway] Tidgwell in Rochester, Wisconsin. They moved to Minnesota by 1920.

Mr. Tidgwell entered the Navy on September 29th 1943. While on leave he married Rosella S. [Vollhaber] on December 2nd 1943 and started a family.

Petty Officer Tidgwell served as a Machinist’s Mate Third Class, (MM3C) with the Commander Motor Torpedo Boats Squadrons; Philippine Sea Frontier from February 13th 1945.

He was separated from the Navy on December 2nd 1945.

Mr. Tidgwell died on March 21st 1984 in Mountain Iron, Minnesota at the age of 69 years old. He is buried at Forbes Cemetery in Forbes. Minnesota.
