Kenneth M. Hansen of Duluth, Minnesota, enlisted in the Naval Reserve on March 11, 1940.
He served aboard the USS Paducah stationed in Duluth, before entering active duty. He was a Radarman 1st Class on the aircraft carrier USS Ranger (CV4), USS Hamlin, Atlantic and Pacific Theaters.
He was honorably discharged Sept. 25, 1945 at Shoemaker, Calif.
