Kermit K. Garland

Kermit K. Garland entered the Army Air Corps on July 16, 1941, at Fort Snelling, Minn. Home at entry: Brookston, Minnesota.

He served as a Master Sergeant and airplane and maintenance technician in the continental U.S.

Mr.Garland was awarded the Good Conduct Medal, American Theater Service Ribbon and World War II Victory Medal.

He was honorably discharged on November 17, 1945, at Sioux Falls, S.D.

He served with the occupation forces Japan from March 1947 until April 1949 and in the Korean War, and retired from Air Force on August 31, 1962.
