Leonard G. Edgerton of Hibbing, Minn. enlisted in the Naval Reserve  on Dec. 12, 1942 at Fort Dodge, Iowa.

He served as an Aviation Metalsmith 3rd Class in the continental U.S. and aboard the USS Bunker Hill and with Carrier Aircraft Service Unit (CASU) 55.

He was honorably discharged on Jan. 22, 1946 at Minneapolis, Minn.
