LeRoy J. Wright joined the US Army in March, 1941.

He served as a member of the Office of Strategic Services in Burma. He was wounded in action during the war.

Mr. Wright received the Purple Heart for his service.

After his return to civilian life, he became a lifelong member of the Disabled American Veterans.
