Lester F. LaBeau

Lester F. LaBeau of Virginia was inducted into the Army on April 10, 1941. He was a staff sergeant and a platoon sergeant in Algeria, French Morocco, Tunisia and Italy (Naples-Foggia and Rome-Arno.) He received the Combat Infantryman Badge, Good Conduct Medal, European-African-Middle East Campaign Service Medal with four bronze battle stars, American Defense Service Medal and World War II Victory Medal. He was discharged on September 4, 1945.
