Lloyd R. Nelson

Lloyd R. Nelson of Duluth, Minnesota was inducted into the Army on July 10, 1942.

He was a Private First Class and a cook in the 43rd General Hospital in the Rome-Arno and Rhineland campaigns. He also served in North Africa and France.

Mr. Nelson received the: Good Conduct Medal, European-African-Middle East Campaign Service Medal with two bronze battle stars, American Campaign Service Medal, and four overseas service bars.

He was discharged on December 1, 1945.
