SKLORS, Louis William

Louis William Sklors was born on January 2nd 1918 to Anton & Agnes Sklors in Proctor, Minnesota.

Mr. Sklors entered the U.S. Navy on August 13th 1943, in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

He served as a Aviation Ordnance Man Third Class (AO3/c) aboard the USS Pine Island (AV-13) during WWII.

He was honorably discharged on December 17th 1945, in Minneapolis, Minnesota. After the war he returned home and married Thalia Orphah [Phelps] on January 16th 1944 and they started a family..

Mr. Sklors died on November 11th 1975 at 57 years of age in Side Lake, Minnesota. He is buried at Maple Hill Cemetery in Hibbing, Minnesota.
