Marian Kizenkavich joined the U.S. Navy WAVES in 1943.

She attended boot camp at Hunter College in New York and U.S. Naval Leadership and Justice School Norfolk, VA and served in the WAVES for 22 years, mainly on the Great Lakes Base.

Ms. Kizenkavich Received citation for services at the District Civil Readjustment Office. She retired as Senior Chief Yeoman.
