Matthew A. Preshiren

Matthew A. Preshiren entered the Army on October 26, 1942, at Fort Snelling, Minnesota. Home at entry: Chisholm, Minnesota.

He served as a Staff Sergeant and auto mechanic with the 3124th Signal Service Company in Rhineland.

Mr. Preshiren was awarded the following: Good Conduct Medal, American Campaign Medal, European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign Medal with one bronze battle star, and the World War II Victory Medal two overseas service bars.

He was honorably discharged on March 23, 1946, at Camp McCoy, Wisconsin.
