Maxine Virginia Hanson was born in Duluth on April 11th 1917, the daughter of Olaf & Maybell [Toftum] Hanson.
Ms. Hanson enlisted in the US Army on December 9th 1942. She served in the Women's Army Corps of the U. S. Army during World War II. She served in the European Theater and in the United States.
Ms. Hanson died on April 16th 2008 at the age of 91, in Duluth, Minnesota. She was buried at Sunrise Memorial Cemetery in Hermantown, Minnesota.
