Melvin L. Cane

Melvin L. Cane enlisted in the Marine Corps in 1941.

He was a sergeant and a machine gunner. He served in the Pacific Theater in combat on Guadalcanal, Guam, Tarawa, Marshall Islands, Okinawa and with occupation forces in Japan.

He was separated in 1945.
