Merlyn E. Mattson

Merlyn F. Mattson was inducted into the Army on August 30, 1945, at Fort Snelling, Minnesota.

He served as a Technician 5th Grade and electrician with the 1584th Engineer Service Company in the Pacific Theater.

Mr. Mattson was awarded the following: World War II Victory Medal and one overseas service bar.

He was honorably discharged on December 14, 1946, at Fort Sheridan, Illinois.
