Mike F. Malec

Mike F. Malec entered the Naval Reserve on April 27, 1944.

He was a Ship's Serviceman (barber) in the Pacific Theater aboard the USS Rixey (APH 3).

Mr. Malec was awarded the: Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal with a bronze battle star, American Campaign Medal, Philippine Liberation Medal, and World War II Victory Medal.

He was honorably discharged in December 1945 at Great Lakes, Ill.
