Miles Holets

Miles Holets entered the Navy on October 28, 1942.

He was an Aerographer (weatherman) 1st Class at continental United States stations. He was assigned to the heavy cruiser USS Chicago and the 3rd Fleet in the Pacific Theater. He witnessed the Japanese surrender aboard the USS Missouri in 1945.

He was honorably discharged November 28, 1945.
