Nestor Albert Westerlund

Nestor Albert Westerlund was inducted into the Army on June 13, 1942, at Fort Snelling, Minnesota. Home at entry: Hibbing, Minnesota.

Mr. Westerlund served as a Technician 5th Grade and a construction foreman with Company A of the 351st Engineer Regiment in northern France, Rhineland and Ardennes.

He received the Good Conduct Medal, European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign Medal with three bronze battle stars, World War II Victory Medal and four overseas service bars.

Mr. Westerlund was honorably discharged on October 27, 1945, at Camp McCoy, Wisconsin.
