Nick Mandich was inducted into the Army on March 12, 1941, at Fort Snelling, Minnesota. Home at entry: Kinney, Minnesota.

He served as a Private First Class and military policeman with the 307th General Hospital in the Pacific.

Mr. Mandich was awarded the following: Good Conduct Medal, American Defense Service Medal, American Campaign Medal, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal, and World War II Victory Medal.

He was honorably discharged on January 20, 1946, at Camp McCoy, Wisconsin.
