Oliver "Huck" Siltanen of Cloquet, Minnesota joined the U.S. Army in March, 1941.

He was a sergeant of an Anti-Aircraft stationed in San Francisco, California In 1943

Oliver moved to Texas where he became an Army training instructor.

He returned to Cloquet in 1945.
