Oscar M. Olson

Oscar M. Olson entered the Army on August 11, 1944.

He served as a Technician 5th Grade and welder with the 1759th Engineer Special Ship Battalion in the Southern Philippines (Liberation) and Luzon.

Mr. Olson was awarded the following: Meritorious Unit Commendation, Good Conduct Medal, American Campaign Medal, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal with two battle stars, and Philippine Liberation Medal.

Mr. Olson was discharged on April 17, 1946.
