Paul E. Payette

Paul E. Payette was inducted into the Army on Jan. 17, 1944.

He was a Staff Sergeant and a reconnaissance agent with Headquarters and Service 282nd Engineer Combat Battalion serving in the Ardennes, Rhineland and Central Europe.

Mr. Payette received the: Good Conduct Medal, European-African-Middle East Campaign Service Medal with three bronze battle stars, World War II Victory Medal and three overseas service bars.

He was discharged on May 10, 1946.
