Paul J. Stimac

Paul J. Stimac was inducted into the Army on July 17,1941, at Fort Snelling, Minnesota. Home at entry: Buhl, Minnesota.

He served as a Private First Class and carpenter with Company C of the 42nd Engineer Battalion in Southern Philippines and Luzon.  He was awarded the following: Good Conduct Medal, American Campaign Medal, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal with two bronze battle stars, World War II Victory Medal, five overseas service bars, and Philippine Liberation Medal with one bronze star.

Mr. Stimac was honorably discharged on October 27, 1945, at Camp McCoy, Wisconsin.
