Peter Rajacich

Peter Rajacich was inducted into the Army on March 12, 1941, at Fort Snelling, Minnesota. Home at entry: Eveleth, Minnesota.

He served as a Technician 5th Grade and tractor driver with Battery B of the 188th Field Artillery Battalion in England, Normandy (D-plus-five), Northern France, Rhineland, Ardennes, and Central Europe.

Mr. Rajacich was awarded the following: Good Conduct Medal, American Defense Service Medal, European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign Medal with five bronze battle stars, World War II Victory Medal three overseas service bars.

He was honorably discharged on September 26, 1945, at Camp McCoy, Wisconsin.
