LEE, Raymond Edward

Raymond Edward Lee was born on September 6th 1920 to  & Agnes [Christiansen] Lee in Kelly Lake, Minnesota.

Mr. Lee entered the Naval Reserve on August 31st 1942. Home at entry: Hibbing, Minnesota.

He served aboard the USS Sampson (DD394) and USS Little Rock (CL92). He rose to the rank of Water Tender 2nd Class (WT2/c)

Mr. Lee was honorably discharged on October 3rd 1945, at Minneapolis, Minnesota. After the war he returned home and married Leitha Mae [Sandberg] in 1945.

Mr. Lee died on February 5th 1973 at the age of 52 years. He is buried at Maple Hill Cemetery in Hibbing, Minnesota.
