Raymond Globokar entered the Navy May,1942. Home at entry: Hibbing, Minn.

He was commissioned Lieutenant (j.g.) and served as a pilot on a Navy torpedo bomber in the Pacific Theater.

He was killed in the service on August 22, 1945, during a training flight when his aircraft collided with the superstructure of the target ship and crashed into the ocean near the Hawaiian Islands.
