Raymond J. Sheehy

Mr. Sheehy entered active duty in the Army on April 15, 1942.

He was a Commissioned Captain and served in the infantry in Rhineland and Central Europe.

He received the following: Bronze Star Medal, Combat Infantryman Badge, European- African-Middle East Campaign Medal with two bronze battle stars, American Campaign Service Medal, Army of Occupation Service Medal (Germany), and World War II Victory Medal.

He was released from active duty on April 7, 1948 at Fort Sam Houston, Texas.

Mr. Sheehy also served in the Army from December 14, 1948 to January 5, 1950. He served as a Captain with the Ninth Infantry Regiment in the continental U.S, as a military personnel officer.

He was honorably discharged at Fort Lewis, Washington.
