Reynold C. Mattson

Reynold C. Mattson entered the Army on May 28, 1942, at Fort Snelling, Minnesota. Home at entry: Chisholm, Minnesota.

He served as a Staff Sergeant with Battery B of the 554th AAA Battalion in Normandy, Northern France, Rhineland, Ardennes and Central Europe Campaigns.

Mr. Mattson was awarded the following: Bronze Star Medal, Good Conduct Medal, American Defense Service Medal, European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign Medal and three overseas service bars

He was honorably discharged on October 31, 1945, at Camp McCoy, Wisconsin.
