Richard W. Nelson

Richard W. Nelson of Duluth, Minnesota was in inducted into the Army on June 22, 1943.

He was a Master Sergeant and Operations NCO in the Service Company in the 351st Infantry Regiment in the Rome-Arno, Northern Apennines and Po Valley campaigns in Italy.

Mr. Nelson received the: Good Conduct Medal, European-African-Middle East Campaign Service Medal with three bronze battle stars, World War II Victory Medal, and three overseas service bars.

He was honorably discharged on December 31, 1945.
