Robert C. Tekautz

Robert C. Tekautz entered the Army on August 2, 1943. Home at entry: Virginia, Minnesota.

Mr. Tekautz served as a Staff Sergeant and rifleman with Company G of the 362nd Infantry Regiment in Rome-Arno and North Apennines, Italy; and Central Europe.

He was awarded the following: Good Conduct Medal, American Campaign Medal, European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign Medal with three bronze battle stars, and World War II Victory Medal.

He was honorably discharged on November 30, 1945, at Fort Ord, California.
