Robert A. Hanson

Robert A. Hanson was inducted into the Army on May 26, 1943, at Fort Snelling, Minnesota.

He served as a Corporal and radar mechanic with the Fourth Phone Recon Squadron, and Long Range in the Pacific Theater.

He was assigned to map making in New Guinea; Darwin, Australia; and Lehti.

Mr. Hanson was awarded the Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Service Medal with five bronze battle stars.

He was honorably discharged February 28, 1946.
