CLARK, Robert John

Robert John Clark was born on July 6th 1923 to Paul & Kathryn [Grierson] Clark in Duluth, Minnesota.

Mr. Clark enlisted in the Army Air Corps on October 6th 1942.

PVT Clark was an airplane maintenance technician with Squadron A-3, 261st Base Unit. He rose to the rank of Corporal (CPL).

CPL Clark earned the following merits for his service:

  • American Campaign Service Medal,
  • World War II Victory Medal.

 

He was honorably discharged on December 1st 1945.

Mr. Clark died on August 16th 1981 at the age of 58 years. He is buried at Lake View Cemetery in Tower, Minnesota.
