LANGDON, Robert Roy

Robert Roy Langdon was born on May 27th 1920 to Roy G. & Corinne [Brouillet] Langdon in Duluth, Minnesota.

Mr. Langdon entered the U.S. Army in August, 1942 during World War II. Before being assigned to Eurpean theater he married Elaine Mildred {Dahl} on January 2nd 1943.

He served with the 343rd Field Artillery Battalion in Normandy, Northern France, Rhineland and Central Europe. He also guarded prisoners of war with a military police unit in Germany. He rose to the rank of Corporal (CPL)

CPL Langdon was honorably discharged in November, 1945. After the war he returned home to his wife and thay started a family.

Mr. Langdon died on February 13th 1994 at the age of 73 years. He is buried at Calvary Cemetery in Duluth, Minnesota.
