Robert T. Johnson of Melrude, Minnesota was inducted into the Army on April 30, 1943 at Fort Snelling, Minn.

He was a Technician 4th Grade with Battery B of the 36th Coast Artillery Battalion.

Mr. Johnson was awarded the: Good Conduct Medal, American Campaign Medal, World War II Victory Medal and four overseas service bars.

He was honorably discharged on January 19, 1946 at Camp McCoy, Wis.
