Robert W. Jensen

Robert W. Jensen was inducted into the Naval Reserve March 4, 1043. Home at entry: Duluth, Minnesota.

He served as a Signalman 3rd Class aboard the USS PC 1143 and USS Mount Katmai (AD16). He served aboard a merchant ship carrying supplies and troops to the Anzio beachhead in Sicily.

"Went from there to Normandy on the same ship carrying troops and supplies. After VE Day I was sent to Okinawa, Ryukyu Islands, in the Pacific theater."

Honorably discharged February 13, 1946, Minneapolis.

Also served 10 months in the Naval Reserve during the Korean Conflict.
