Rose Stupnik (nee Brula) entered the Women's Army Corps (WAC) on September 1, 1943. She served as a Technician Fourth Grade and clerk-typist in the continental United States.

She was awarded the following: Good Conduct Medal, American Campaign Medal, Women's Army Corps Service Medal, and World War II Victory Medal.

Mrs. Stupnik was honorably discharged on April 13, 1946.
