Rudolph O. Sampson

Rudolph O. Sampson entered the Army on November 25, 1942, at Fort Snelling, Minnesota. Home at entry: Embarrass, Minnesota.

He served as a Private First Class with the 3284th Signal Film Library Detachment of the 79th Infantry Division in Normandy, Northern France, and Rhineland.

He received the following: Silver Star Medal, Bronze Star Medal, Combat Infantryman Badge, Presidential Unit Citation, Good Conduct Medal, European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign Medal with three bronze battle stars, World War II Victory Medal, and two overseas service bars.

He was honorably discharged on October 24, 1945.
