Russell L. Jettenberg

Russell L. Jettenberg enlisted in the Army Air Corps on March 31, 1940 at St. Paul, Minn.

He served as a Master Sergeant and communications chief with the 155th Photo Reconnaissance Squadron in Normandy, Northern France, Rhineland, Ardennes  and Central Europe.

Mr. Jettenberg was awarded the: Presidential Unit Citation (Ninth Air Force), Good Conduct Medal, European-African-Middle East Campaign Medal with five bronze battle stars, American Defense Service Medal, World War II Victory Medal, and six overseas service bars.

He was honorably discharged on September 30, 1945 at Camp McCoy, Wis.
