Solomon Nyrhinen

Solomon Nyrhinen of Virginia, Minnesota was inducted into the Army on June 23, 1942.

He was a Technician 4th Class and a medical technician with the Detachment Medical Department in the 32nd Station Hospital, serving at Naples-Foggia and Rome-Arno in the Italian campaign.

Mr. Nyrhinen received the: Good Conduct Medal, European-African-Middle East Campaign Service Medal with two bronze battle stars, World War II Victory Medal and five overseas service bars.

He was discharged on October 17, 1945.
