Stanley J. Yeshe

Stanley J. Yeshe was inducted into the Army Air Corps on August 26, 1942, at Fort Snelling, Minnesota. Home at entry: Hibbing, Minnesota.

He served as a Sergeant and cryptographer with the Army Airway Communications Squad of the 779th Army Air Forces Base Unit 149 in the Solomon Islands Campaign, Pacific Theater.

He was awarded the Good Conduct Medal, American Campaign Medal, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal with one bronze battle star, World War II Victory Medal, and four overseas service bars.

Mr. Yeshe was honorably discharged on December 9, 1945, at Camp McCoy, Wisconsin.
