Stanley P. Mehle

Stanley P. Mehle entered into the Army on September 5, 1943, at Fort Snelling, Minnesota. Home at entry: Chisholm, Minnesota.

He served as a Technician 5th Grade and reconnaissance car crewman with Company A of the 759th Light Tank Battalion in Normandy, Northern France, Ardennes, Rhineland, and Central Europe.

Mr. Mehle was awarded the following: Distinguished Service Meda, Good Conduct Medal, European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign Medal with five bronze battle stars, World War II Victory Medal and three overseas service bars.

He was honorably discharged on January 2, 1946, at Camp McCoy, Wisconsin.
