HORVATH, Steven Joseph

Steven Joseph Horvath was born on February 6th 1918 to John & Frances Horvath in Elmer, Minnesota.

Mr. Horvath of Meadowlands, Minnesota.enlisted for military service on January 9th 1942 at Ft. Snelling in Minneapolis, Minnesota during World War II. He served in the U.S. Army Air Forces.

"In March 1944 he graduated from Airplane Mechanics School at Sheppard Air Force Base in Wichita Falls, Texas. At the time, his rank was Sergeant (SGT)".

SGT Horvath was honorably discharged at the rank of Staff Segeant (SSGT).

After the war he returned home and married Irene G. [Ringhofer] and they started a family. He is buried at St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery in Elmer.
