Thomas J. Fabish

Thomas J. Fabish of Mountain Iron, Minn. entered the Army on Nov. 17, 1943 at Fort Snelling, Minn.

He served as a Private First Class and an infantryman with Company L, 2nd Infantry Regiment in Ardennes, Rhineland and Central Europe.

Mr. Fabish was awarded the European-African-Middle East Campaign Medal with three bronze battle stars, American Campaign and Medal World War II Victory Medal.

He was honorably discharged on Nov. 5, 1945 at Camp Campbell, Kent. 

He re-enlisted on Nov. 6, 1945 and served as a Sergeant and a squad leader with Company L, 7th Infantry Regiment.

He received the: Army of Occupation Service Medal and was honorably discharged on Nov. 30, 1946 at Fort Bragg, N.C.
