Thomas E. Malnar of Virginia, Minnesota was inducted into the Army on Sept. 2, 1942.

He was a Private First Class with Company D, 150th Infantry Regimen in the Pacific Theater (Alaska, Canal Zone).

He was awarded the: Good Conduct Medal, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal, American Campaign Medal, World War II Victory Medal and four overseas service bars.

He was discharged on Nov. 26, 1945 at Camp McCoy, Wis.
