Toivo R. Hakala

Toivo R. Hakala was inducted into the Army Air Corps on January 15, 1942 at Fort Snelling, Minn.

He served as a Technical Sergeant with Headquarters and Base Service Squadron of the 87th Air Service Group during the Air Offensive Japan, China-Burma-India Theater.

Mr. Hakala was awarded the Good Conduct Medal. Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal, American Campaign Medal and World War II Victory Medal.

He was honorably discharged November 20, 1945 at Fort Lewis, Wash.
