Tom Giombetti was inducted into the Army November 23, 1942 at Fort Snelling, Minnesota. Home at entry: Hibbing, Minnesota.

He served as a Technician 5th Grade and truck driver with Company C of the 124th Armored Engineer Battalion in Rhineland and Central Europe.

Mr. Giombetti was awarded the Good Conduct Medal, American Campaign Medal, European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign Medal with two bronze battle stars and World War II Victory Medal.

He was honorably discharged November 4, 12945, at Fort Mac Arthur, Calif.
