Tony M. Dimberio was inducted into the Army on July 27, 1942 at Fort Snelling, Minn.

He served as a Technician 4th Grade and lathe operator with the Corps of Engineers of the 499th Engineer Heavy Shop Company in New Guinea in the Pacific Theater.

Mr. Dimberio was awarded the Good Conduct Medal, Meritorious Unit Commendation, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal, American Campaign Medal and World War II Victory Medal.

He was honorably discharged on Jan. 7, 1946 at Camp McCoy, Wis.
