Vaino Elmer Lahti

Vaino Elmer Lahti enlisted in the Marine Corps Reserve on April 27, 1943, in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

He served as a Technical Sergeant and radio technician in Okinawa, Pelelieu Island, and the Pacific Theater.

Mr. Lahti was awarded the: Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal with two bronze battle stars and World War II Victory Medal.

He was honorably discharged on November 29, 1945, at Miramar, California.
